Dear Christ Episcopal Church Dallas Family & Friends:
The “church” in Greek is ekklesia, which refers to a “gathered community”. Even if the doors to our church building are closed at this present time, our ekklesia by the grace of God does not cease thanks to having our “computer windows” opened worldwide.
In this time of many uncertainties, we must evermore call upon God’s mercy over all His creation. For this reason for the following weeks, we will continue to be the Virtual Church and be ekklesia, caring for one another and carrying the necessities of our “gathered community” and those of the world in prayer virtually to everyone.
Maintain connected in our weekly Sunday and Wednesday Services along with Monday-Friday Morning Prayer. You will find the Bible Study Readings on the Lectionary Page and the Morning and Evening Prayer at Mission St. Clare.
You may use Zoom to connect by computer or cellphone and you may choose to Join with Video or Join without Video OR you may prefer to call just like any other telephone call.
I look forward to hearing from you and/or seeing you for any and all Christ Church Services. Remember, I am just a phone call away.
God bless you all,
Fr. Fabian Villalobos, Rector
